With rated voltage of 24~38kV, rated current of 1,250~3,150A, and maximum breaking current of 40kA, Hyosung’s ProGIS is designed and manufactured to meet various specifications. Features

Safety is considered the top priority
Partitioning structure by bay
Utilizes the partitions between the gas bays to prevent accidents in part of the facility from spreading to the entire facility.
9T iron enclosure (VCB 28T)
Uses an iron enclosure which has a melting point higher than an aluminum enclosure; risk of the enclosure melting by the internal arc is eliminated, and damage to the peripherals and human accidents are prevented.
Minimum gas pressure of 0.7kgf/cm2·G
Pressure is maintained so that the risk of gas leakage, which may occur when gas pressure is high, is minimized.
Bellows installed at the tank connection unit
Bellows maintain the mechanical safety of the system by absorbing the temperature change, errors in assembly, differences in the concrete base, and excessive displacement due to an earthquake.
Passed the Internal Arc Test
Hyosung’s medium-voltage GIS was the first domestic manufacturer to pass the internal arc test in the medium voltage sector, reconfirming its high user safety.
Convenience of users considered
Modulization of each unit
Modulization of the busbar, circuit breaker, DS/ES, and PNL units allows for fast disassembly with minimum replacement of parts.
Uninterrupted power expansion
Double busbar GIS can be expanded with uninterrupted power.
First domestic design technology
Based on the technical know-how accumulated by developing ultra high-voltage GIS such as 362kV and 800kV, Hyosung developed its GIS with state-of-the-art design technology such as three-dimentional electromagnetic field analysis, structure analysis, and thermal distribution analysis.
Highly reliable products made from highly reliable materials
AI2O3(Alumina Oxide) insulation spacer
The general epoxy filler includes Si, so when the SF6 gas meets with oxygen and moisture, they create a chemical reaction and the dielectric strength cannot be maintained. The AI2O3 solves this problem.
Tulip contactor used for 154kV or higher
Tulip contactor is used for easy installation and removal and solid contact.
